Carnalito comes from carnal, the word Mexicans use for a true friend, a ride-or-die, the brother without the papers. We named this rum after that bond.
Born in Oaxaca, a new player for Mexican rum, Carnalito is distilled from 100% Oaxacan wild sugarcane grown in volcanic soil, shaped by Gulf breezes, and run through Spanish-style column stills. It tastes like where it’s from, because we never tried to make it taste like anything else.
